Who was the Father of Elizabeth's Children?

Randolph County, NC

In 1839 and again in 1845 Elizabeth Mitchell was in wpe1B.jpg (36660 bytes)court filing a Bastardy Bond on Jesse Allred.  Because thewpe2.gif (205406 bytes) elder Jesse (1783-1844) was dead in 1844 and couldn't have fathered a child or appeared in court in 1845, we know he wasn't the guilty party.  There were two other Jesse Allreds living in Randolph County during this time period.  One was Jesse, Jr. who is listed above.  The other was the grandson of the "original" Solomon.  I have no idea which one was the father of Elizabeth's children.
