Inventorie of the goods cattles chattles and credts of John Allred Late of Wardley in the countie of Lancaster Blacksmith Deseased valued and apprassed the day and yeare above said by Richard Lightbourne John Darlishire Robert Edge and George Allred Senior as followeth viz

Latin.... Robert Alred de Barton in Com Lan [Robert Alred of Barton in the County of Lancashire] Geo: et Geo: Alred de Eacl in .. [& George Alred of Eccles of the same]..   July Anno Do. 1696

The condition of this obligation is such, that if the above bounded Robert Alred Administrator of all and singular the goods and credits of John Alred late of Wardley in the County of Lancaster his late Brother, deceased do make or cause to be made, a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the goods, chattals, & credits of the said deceased which have or shall come to the hand, possesion or knowlege of him the said Robert Alred or into the hands and possession of any other person or persons for him And the same so made, to exhibit, or cause to be exhibited into the Registry of the Consistory Court of Chester, at or before the first day of August next ensuing the date above written And the same Goods, Chattals and Credits, and all other the Goods Chattals & Credits of the said deceased, at the time of his death, which at any time after shall come to the hands or possession of the said Robert Allred or into the hand or possession of any other person or persons for him do well & truly Administer according to Law; and further do make or cause to be made a true and just account of the said Administration, at or before the thirteenth day of July which shall be in the year of our Lord 1697. And all the rest and residue of the said Goods, Chattals & Credits, which shall be found remaining upon the said Administrators account the same being first examined & allowed of by the Judge or Judges for the time being of the said Court shall deliver & pay into such person or persons respectively, as the said Judge or Judges by his or their Decree or Sentence (pursuant to the true meaning of an Act of Parliament Instituted An Act for the better settling Intestate Estates) shall limit and apoint. And if it shall hereafter apear, That any last Will and Testament was made by the said Deceased & the Executor or Executors, therein named, do exhibit the same into the said Court, making request to have it allowed & proved accordingly, if the said Administrator above bounded being thereunto required, do render & deliver the said Letters of Administration, (Approbation of such Testament being first had & made) in the said Court then this Obligation to be void and of none effect, or else to remain in full force and vertue.
