England After decades of research, we have documented the Allred family of America descended from the Allred family of Eccles Parish, Lancashire, England. Parish records listing births, deaths and marriages of the Allred, Smith and Pemberton families are being closely examined. Results from our Allred DNA project prove our roots are in the British Isles or possibly Europe, backing up the documentation we're finding. This letter was found January 10, 2003 in the Pemberton Collection housed in the Historical Society of Pennsylvania in downtown Philadelphia.
