ECAFA Board of Director's Meeting The Board of Directors of the East Coast Allred Family Association, Inc., met May 6, 2002, at the Blue Mist Restaurant at 10am. Board Members: President: Linda Allred Cooper Absent: Franklin Allred Attending by proxy for Eugene: Eddie Clay Allred Harlan Sexton also attended the meeting. The meeting was called to order by the President, Linda Allred Cooper. The purpose of the meeting was to amend, make suggestions, correct and finalize the By-Laws for the East Coast Allred Family Association, Inc.. The association is applying for "A Not-for-Profit Corporation" status. As a nonprofit charitable organization with a mission devoted to education, history genealogy, identification and documentation of family groups, acquisition, maintenance, beautification and preservation of family artifacts including private of abandoned cemeteries of the Allred and associated families, application to the Internal Revenue is herein sought under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code, of the corresponding section of any future tax code. The application forms were filled out with the required information and will be mailed along with the By-Laws to the Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue. Credit and appreciation was extended by all members of the Board to Dennis York and Darrell Allred for their input and preparation of the East Coast Allred Family Association By-Laws.
