RCGS President, George Bains, presided over the meeting.  ECAFA Treasurer James Eugene Allred explained that we had received the official approval for IRS Tax Exempt 501(c)3 status in December 2002.  Per the "Agreement for Pass-Through Contribution" signed by the RCGS and Alton and Dorothy Garner (June 2002), we were giving official notification to the RCGS of our 501(c)3 status.  The RCGS acknowledged the Agreement and voted to transfer the deed for the Allred -Trogdon Cemetery to the ECAFA.  RCGS Vice President, Don Bulla, agreed to meet at the lawyer's office (Smith and Alexander) with James Eugene Tuesday morning, January 7, 2003, to transfer the deed.  James Eugene will have the deed recorded later that same morning.

The ECAFA will meet January 16, 2003 at Best Foods Cafeteria in Siler City at 6pm.  The agenda will include planning activities and goals for 2003.  All are invited to attend.
